Greg Baer turned eye doctor to marriage expert after learning about Real Love. Real love is unconditional love. The Real Love series emphasizes the importance of unconditional love in dating, relationships and marriage. Issues that plaque marriages can all be traced to a lack of unconditional love. Unconditional love is caring about the happiness of another without wanting anything in return for ourselves.
The focus of Real Love is what I can do, not what I want. Often we imitate love, but the source of that is to get something that we want for ourselves. Greg Baer teaches how to develop the mindset of Real Love and exercise it every day.

Greg Baer and Real Love
Greg Baer offers plenty of information through his website, videos, free conference calls, products and membership site. Once one understands the real meaning of Real Love, and implements it, true happiness can quickly ensue. Greg Baer provides excellent advice in his free videos in the fashion of FAQs. In one of his videos he answers the question about “How can I keep my relationship together?” In a wonderful explanation, Greg explains that is the wrong question to ask. The question involves the behavior of the spouse, which we cannot and should not control. Rather, a better question would be something like “What can I do to better love my spouse.” I can only control my actions and that is a key concept in Real Love.
I’ve listened to one of his video about real (unconditional love) 4 or 5 times and I find it very helpful, however I was curious to know, does Dr Baer ascribe to traditional Freudian phycology or a more Christian faith based model or neither?
