Jack Canfield knows how to be successful and build great relationships. His Chicken Soup for the Soul series helps inspire millions around the world. The Success Principles, another record breaking book by Jack Canfield, though about success also includes some of the best relationship advice found anywhere. The principles he teaches transforms lives, relationships and marriages.
One of the very best relationship techniques I recommend comes from Jack Canfield. I learned this from a conference I attended in Philadelphia in 2012 where he was a speaker. It’s called the weekly checkup. Jack Canfield has plenty of advice suitable for all aspects of life.

Jack Canfield and The Success Principles
In The Success Principles, Jack Canfield writes 8 chapters about relationships. The topics include:
- Listen far more than talking
- The value of having “Heart Talks”
- Always tell the truth
- Speak with intention and integrity
- Don’t assume an understanding; Use the “Do You Mean… Technique”
- Appreciate others and yourself
- Keep all of your agreements without flaw
- Act with class… it draws others with class to you
Besides The Success Principles, Jack Canfield has the Chicken Soup for the Soul series of books, and many others, all geared to uplift, inspire and help the reader succeed in life. Relationships and marriage are a vital part of life, and all of his materials can help. For example, I have a few of Jack’s Chicken Soup for the Soul books. One is called True Love. There’s a story in it about how the little things in marriage matter. The couple had been married for many years, and as time went on, they stopped paying attention to Valentine’s Day and other days like it. It dawned on them they were just existing. They re-committed to the little things and the marriage was reborn. Touching stories like that are all within the book. Great marriage advice.
